The photographer has persuaded Manik, who has in turn persuaded Dominic to have a first dance!

We don't plan on having a DJ or anything so the current plan is for just the bride and groom to have a quick shuffle around!

Feel free to stay as long as you like! We just wanted to give you an idea of when the main events will be over.

Of course, if you need to leave earlier then that's no problem at all :) .

Parking

For the ceremony there's a decent bit of parking available at the Church:

There's also usually some parking along New Road (the road the Church is on) but not much. You might get lucky!

Our best suggestion is that if the Church car park is full then have a look down Queen's Avenue (if the Church is on your left then it is the first left turning).

If you're really stuck, then there's parking at the beach, on Sandy Lane but it has a lot of potholes so take care!

For the Court Colman, although there's a small amount of parking at the front, please do not park there. There's a lot of parking at the back of the manor, please park there instead.

Dress code

Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable!

Generally wear something smart: sari, suits, kilts or whatever makes you feel happy is best. If you're unsure if something would be allowed or not then just go with it. We want everyone to feel relaxed.

Wear whatever colour you like!

Where to stay

There are a couple of rooms to rent in somewhere called "The Rest", which is an old miner's retreat that's a minute's walk from the best beach in Porthcawl.

Otherwise, we don't have any specific recommendations but there's a fair few places available: here, here and here.

Photos

Please do not take photos within the Church.

We have a photographer who will be taking photos throughout the day, including during the ceremony.

There will be lots of opportunities for photos during the reception in Court Colman.

Children

Please bring them with you!
